Franchesca & Reuben

The first time we met Franchesca and Reuben together, we immediately felt the magic of two special souls, empathetic, open-minded and very friendly. Franchesca reached us after being herself a guest at one of our weddings! With a clear vision in mind: she wanted her wedding to be intimate, romantic and unforgettable.

After a very romantic proposal on a Greece island, they were looking for a historical wedding venue in Italy, where having the whole group on site for a 3-days experience.

The choice of an abbey in Umbria was quite natural: they loved the environment, the natural beauty of the landscapes, the tranquillity of the place, the perfect dimension for their intimate group of 33 guests.

The group landed in Rome a few days prior to the wedding weekend, and we helped them reaching the venue with an organized transport service. On the first day, they had a welcome dinner at the restaurant of the venue, to start the weekend at best!

On the wedding day, the ceremony was incredibly emotional: the couple worked on it together with their officiant to make it perfectly in line with their religious beliefs, with meaningful readings and the feet-washing ritual, accompanied by an emotional song. Guests were all very moved.

In terms of dècor, elegance was a key-note: total white for the ceremony and black & white classy details for the reception in the courtyard, with a lot of candles and lights, with an intimate, cozy and romantic result.

After a great cake moment, with cake prepared at sight on the stairs of the courtyard, with the active participation of Bride and Groom, well, a great party time followed…we have to say…we never saw people dancing for so long and so well! Group dances, latin music, everybody seemed to be a professional dancer…a fantastic group with an incredible energy!

It was a day full of happy and smiling people, it was clear to everyone that those persons were there really t celebrate their love and friendship for a very special couple.
